Description

She all dress up to go to a Country Ball ; going to look for her cowgirls boots to put on but Death is comeing up behind her.... You know we all think of death at times. We just do not wish to talk about it much. But look at history and people think a lot of death back then. The mummys was made and other people say there is life after death. The Bible have a lot to say about death. Other religious around the world do too. Some people say there is no afterlife. Just got to find the Truth that all. I know I post alot of bonepeople and a lot of them was fun images. But lately I know I been on the dark side of life. Sorry about that and I trying to get some fun one but it turns dark some times. It started when my big tom cat got hit by a car and die. That was last month and I told no one. He did not know what hit him; die instantly [I thankful for that] Guess that got me thinking how fast things can go in life or death. He the only cat I saw that fought two tom cats at one time and wins. I saw it with my own eyes and I wished I had a camera to caught the action. Got side track there.... peace be with you all. I am trying to turn to fun again thanks for every thing

Sorry for your loss Jock ~ it's tough to lose our friends, especially I think those who give us unconditional love.

one dying and a burying will tell the truth. either you will know or just be deader than a doorknob. I like this use of structures. first time I remember you using one. too bad about your cat.

Cool use of structure. Yeah I agree with you about losing a loved pet. Like they say where I used to work; "Life's a bitch; then you die." Can I say that? Whew, I just did.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you wake up to morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. I love your pictures jocko i wouldn,t mind resting for ever in your back yard...don't dwell on death live for today....cheers

Kool work Jocko. You have a special way of reminding us that we are all really pretty much alike. Same fears, same joys, same skeletons in a closet somewhere. You the man! Nice words frm fluffgirl too.

You're right again, we all think about death a lot more than we admit to. Losing an animal friend is really hard, just like a relative, I'm glad he didn't suffer. This is really a cool work, I can usually spot your work as soon as I see it because it is so creative and interesting. Great job!

Nice work Jock. fluffgirl is right- let the light of life in and keep going forward. The older I get, the more real my own mortality is, and the more I want to accomplish some things before it's too late.

I once said to my Mother while watching a movie on TV Mom is it not disrespectful? I mean why it is that when someone dies people come to the house with food and drink and after a while everyone is laughing and joking. She thought for a moment and then looked at me and said Thats what youre suppose to do. You celebrate because thats a life that has now entered Gods kingdom. Then she said if youre going to morn for anyone, morn for that new bourn baby, thats a new life that has to live in this Earthly existence for 60 to 80 years, and you know how much pain, sorrow, hate & bigotry, sickness & disease, war, hunger & famine one has to deal with in life. So we celebrate death. Sounds a little crazy to be sure, but just something to think about. Your art is wonderful and thoughtful.
