Description

While sitting on the terrace of the Turtmannhütte at 2519 m (8264 ft) we can see not only the Turtmanngletscher as you have seen, but the Brunegggletscher (where on the world do we find words with 3 g's? welcome in Switzerland LOL!) as well that lies left of it. The track looks inviting but it would demand too much time to visit that glacier. I've taken the freedom to post Turtmannh

Another beautiful and impressive shot. With all the coldness there, its interesting to see some vegetation from where you're standing. Excellent. Aloha

I am starting up my BMW and Ducati to rhyme with the Beziers of Renault. Now I am ready for Calvinist preaching. What is it exactly that we are to freeze with nitrogen and excise? The solarization here is causing my nose to glow. "Just a moment", sliding my chair back a bit on the veranda to take in the ice.

This is something else! I never would've thought I'd be up this high in my life. (3 G's huh? That is weird.) Another glacier so close to the other on... that's really cool. Fabulous shot Jan-Carel.

Superb view on the glacier. And an incredible contrast with the blue sky, so pure, without a cloud. An then we let the top and go down the mountain ? lol. So lovely too your version with the Edelweiss Jan-Carel. The magic flower of the mountains... Have a great day. Hugs. V

I really love the chaotic lines between the various terrain types and the contrasts between them. You really create fine photographs Jan!
