Description

Deep in the meadow of Midnight stands a stallion of ebony black. Deep in the meadow of Midnight I'll ride on his bare back Deep in the meadow of Midnight we'll gallop across the milky way. Deep in the meadow of Midnight is a man white as snow. Deep in the meadow of Midnight he will ask me not to go. Deep in the meadow of Midnight I tell him i can not stay. Deep in the meadow of Midnight I must be gone at the light of day (D. M. Purnell Dec 2005) ~~~ for those of you who dont know it my mother in law is terminal and well this is what came to me as we stressed over the holiday please enjoy it and visit all my faves ~~~

Very good poem, but on my level, not to sound weird, if you posted this on a alternative-lifestyle site, you'd get a few raves. I read it and it was really good. But what I thought was a bit naughty. :) Great work!

Perfect pictures painted in my mind... but naughty? Maybe I'm too old -- don't get that. I'm not sure if your mother-in-law is in trouble? Sorry to hear about stress. Glad that you are posting again -- for sure.

A most lovely work of poetry Davina! It is so sad that wonderful works like these are often inspired by sad events. My prayers are with you and your loved ones! Hugs!
