Description
The iaido master imagines an adversary. He will dispatch his adversary with the fluid grace of the wind, and the deadly fury of a tsunami.
"Saya no uchi de katsu" - victory in the scabbard of the sword.

Excellent image, pov and concept. Are you a practitioner of Iaido?

very nice....one minor flaw in the position of the katana, ie: its upside down....Iaido usually starts with the basic draw being made "sharp" upwards...which would mean the scabbard would curve downwards....picky picky...i know ;) there is of course a few techniques that require the rotation of the scabbard through 180 degrees to results in the blade leaving it sharp down... very nice posing though!

let's just assume its one of those techniques ;) thank you both for your comments. i went to my first lesson tonight. and even with what i learned tonight, i can see several things about the image that bug me. but over all, its an image i am quite proud of. thank you both again for commenting.
