OK Kate, second version is certainly not as cluttered. The water needs a different bump setting, higher, to give the impression of scale between whats at the front of the pic, the water, and the bridge. At the moment the scale between the various pieces just doesnt look right. Other than that, the idea is very good, looking forward to seeing more.

Hi Kate. Like what you have done with this so far. Looks really good. I too agree with fozzi on the water scale issue. I love the mushrooms you have made, they look great. Other than the water scale issue this scene is really starting to take shape nicely. Keep up the good work and hope to see more. ---- Scott.

Good idea with chicky babe on the mushroom. Once the water texture is sorted the image will look great keep it up .Well done!!

I think the mushrooms look gorgeous , the beautiful purple flowers really help to brake things up a bit. I really like your use of colours here, ...great work!...Oh and I think the water looks fine :) it makes her look really small ,I think that was the idea ( otherwise she wouldn't be sitting on a mushroom ;)

You are making some pretty good images, I like you subject matter and your choice of symbols. Your work is very soothing to the eye and pleasant to look at. Still, I have three minor suggestions, if you allow me. First, the foregound tree is hiding too much of the bridge, where the bridge is a key element in this composition. Second, the elf on the mushroom is a bit too small and drowns in the rest of the image. Third, I think he frequency of your water texture is a bit too low, which gives the image a some sort of a "miniature" look.
