Penetrating look of numbness and helplessness. Depressing to view, but significant. I am compelled to look and see more than is on the surface. My first response to pain and suffering is often to turn away, but something inside won't let me. I must look, see, react and finally to find a way to do something. Your painting gives me that same feeling. Excellent composition. V

This really is a very moving image, the face reaches out to the viewer in the most powerful & compelling way, I find it hard to drag my eyes away, a really strong piece of work.

This is that kind of powerful image that require something from the viewer, an engagement, a reaction, I have difficulties to stop looking, and enjoying. Even if it is sad it makes me happy, because it is so beautiful, and it makes me responsible in a strange way. Just the color combination you have chosen here is a favourite for me.
