As the mind is slowly fading
And the ears deceive the mind
With dreams from sound
When I am lost
Between sleep and waking
And visions become lucent
Uncertain that reality's unfound
I hold the scepter high
And speak up to the sky
Spellbound by the glow
The sun's held within
I am here as you granted
Most obediently enchanted
And with praise my ritual
Now begins
I feel warmth upon my face
As I lie here in grace
Letting dream magic
Take control
But unfortunately I awake
Suddenly by mistake
And hear a child sing
