Description

This started out really as a still life study in boolean objects. I was trying to get the positive/negative thing down right so I came up with the simple ashtray (available for download in the free stuff section for Bryce) and the idea just kinda worked itself into what you see. The entire scene was done in Bryce 5 with postwork in Photoshop 6 (lighting effects and making the cigarette look more like it was burning and less like plastic) I'm still not really happy with the smoke on the cigarette, so if anyone has any helpful comments, they're more than welcome. Notice the gold ring hiding in the shadows of the glass. (Hence the title...)

Wow, very powerful. Amazing, how adding such a small element can change the whole meaning of an image. Excellent reflective work on the glass as well.

I love the reflection of the glass. The title is quite powerful now that I notice the wedding band on the table.
