Surfacing is turning out fine, sand is nicely smooth, maybe the green parts could be done with a bit more difference in bumpiness. But you've got a big "end-of-the-world" problem ahead where the water meets the horizon; I'd advise a different POV to avoid this. Or you could try different atmo/cloud settings to mask the end of the terrain.

Andy - Thanks for the advice, exactly how obvious IS the end of the world thing, that is, the land mass (to me... probablyh just becuase I've been working on it so long) looks like it somewhat naturally cuts off there and slopes downward... is it blatantly obvious? I know the sand part is pretty obvious though :P I'll go and fix grass up a bit more too. Ppetersen - thanks! I made the terragen in world machine. And yeah, I like that POV for the composition, too bad with the end of the world thing :(

Excellent left foreground surface and shoreline. Beautiful terrain, lovely sky, and I agree with Andy about the POV.

Cyber - Thanks :D It won't change dramatically for the complete version, it is pretty much complete as it is (I will make subtle changes if I have time, but I don't want to rerender it :P) Fratal - thanks a lot :D that left foreground was a pain in the arse to get right :D And thanks, the terrain was made in world machine, you can have it (or anyone else) if you want :D It's not very large though :P Lior - :D thank you
