Description

This is one of my first tries at texture overlays, constructive criticism is most welcome :) Terrain made in WM Dirt texture from Mayang.com (i think)

No criticism at all...very well done. I'd be interested in know about the terrain size, image resolution and how many times you tiled it. Excellent image!!

Excellent work on the overlays, now a tiny bit more colors and surfaces to the distant mountains and you've a superb surface. Wonderful terrain and POV... Lovely render.

Thanks :) OK lets see...512 terrain, 4800x3600 render, and i think the tiling was about 150x150

The textures look great...I usually use more than one texture...try one texture for each layer and see what happens...also mix up the settings like 150x180 or 80X60 sometimes the results are amazing :) I'd really like to see some more of your space art...your designs, concepts and postwork skills are exceptional.
