Description

"We were the only pulsating creatures in a dead world of ice." --Frederick Albert Cook

I've been under the weather for the past few days but am finally feeling a bit better. Here's some more ice for you, this one a bit more subtle than the previous. Yes, those are frozen air bubbles. ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your electric magenta comments on my last photo, Deep Ice VII.

Welcome back Kortalouche.Glad you're no longer 'under the weather'. ;^P I adore this color. It's probably my most favorite color of all,so I can't help but love this particular abstract.I didn't see what Ray is seeing...I saw an elephant's trunk, lol! But now I sooo see what he is seeing!LOL.Oh my!What will these fellows yield? There can't be another incarnation of Brian at the end of this! The last one was scary enough!Seriously,I love how these abstracts are like Rorschach tests.I REALLY look at them.I'd consider any image that people spend more than a few seconds on,here,a real achievement.Kudos to you head MASter!-M :^)

"We were the only pulsating creatures in a dead world of ice." At 5:30 on a morning like this, it certainly feels that way, Kort! Love the series, and your insightful text. Can't wait to see what's next.

Must be one hell of a job, creating frozen air-bubbles like these, endless shaping them millimeter by millimeter! ;) Having a cold myself I'm not afraid of your ice-works, they're cool state-of-the-art creations with profound beauty! Excellent work, Kort, and get better soon! :)
