Description
Hi everyone!I hope your first days of 2006 have all been wonderful.
Recently,Kort=TWOPYNTS started a thread in the forum about his angel trumpet plant, and I uploaded this shot, just for fun.
It was then that he and Richard=ONSLOW suggested that I upload this to my gallery.
I would NEVER have done so without their encouragement.
So if you don't like it,don't blame me...blame them...LOL...just kidding. ;^)
Therefore, this pic is dedicated to these two talented and wonderful photographic artists:
Kort, for his unflagging enthusiasm and boundless creativity. You never cease to amaze me with your abstracts and your talent is limitless!
and
Richard, for his phenomenal craftsmanship and mind-boggling patience.Your wonderful gift is only surpassed by your incredible willingness to share your knowledge and expertise!
Both are a tremendous inspiration to me and I want to thank them both, from the bottom of my heart. Thanks guys, for the much-needed ego-MASsage!LOL.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, everyone, and thanks as always, for looking. Please feel free to leave any comment you wish, whether it's all-out critique or just a friendly hello.I always want to hear what you have to say!
All my best, Hugs! Marlene :^) Thanks Doug.Again.LOL.

Oh Marlene..this is so beautiful!! Sometimes I wonder if you should step away from your own photos and then look at them as if you were looking at a photo taken by someone else. You are so hard on yourself and yet you have more natural talent than most! I bet if someone else posted this picture you would melt and love it as we all do!! :-) Try it sometime and let me know if it works...hehehe Excellent and beautiful dedication to two Masters here in RR! :-) V

Dear Marlene, I decided to have a look at your previous work and see how you have matured artistically, so as I came upon this beautiful iris close up I could not believe that I actually had missed commenting on it earlier. The grace and subtle intimacy of the flower is embraced by the pastel tones that appear having been laid down with just a breath. It is truly an exceptional photograph and it is a pleasure to add it to my favorite gallery. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. egmont
