Description

I've been struggling with the light setup for three nights now, and I just decided to upload. Postwork done in PS to enhance the volumetric light and levels. I'm not too happy about the materials, especially the chair and the wood, so I might post another version. Thank you all for your comments on my previous image, hope you like this one too. :) Take care, Sabra

I think it's great work, to me the only suspect looking material is the floor, which looks almost as though it has some AA issue. Was AA switched on for the floor and window? The lighting is brilliant as it looks here.

Damn Gog, you're right I see it now. I think I must have had the AA render settings at Geometry instead of Best. I'll check that!

Nice pose Sabra, of one of the most beautiful sights imaginable to me. The lighting and shadows are great, and I love the empty room, it gives me less distraction in my study of the most interesting subject in the room. Excellent C4D work too!

It's a wonderful image - fantastic, beautiful work. There's a patch on the wall behind her left elbow which at first look seemed to me to be part of her arm. I had to look again to realise what it was. But the overall effect and mood is brilliant.

Beautiful work Sabra.I love the composition & lighting.It has a wonderful oil painted feel.The only small problems,in my opinion,are with the skirting board in front of the character,it appears too bright in an otherwise heavily shadowed area,& also the dark patch on the wall behind her left arm distracts the eye.Still a truly excellent,lovely piece of art.
