I'm a 17 year old girl who just moved to my dream location, the beach. I've been dedicated to photography for the past couple of years, and my main goal is to continue to learn, and try to produce the best work I can. I joined this site, one, so I can view my friend, Roxana's gallery, and two so I could recieve opinions and constructive criticism on my own gallery. Thank you for viewing.

Its absolutely gorgeous. Id say youre off to a great start with that one. Helpful pointers you say....hmmmm....well i wouldnt have mind if the composition was a bit different. I think it would have benefitted from having more "ground". Had you lowered your camera a little and caught more of the silhouetted trees, i think it would have looked even better. But a darn fine shot is already. Have a great day. #:O)

Welcome here in the photography gallery! Wonderful start here! Perhaps a little bit more ground would helped but certainly not too much (it becomes all dark). Putting the sun more off-centered would have added a certain tension to the capture, it might attract the eye towards that point! A promising start here! :)

Gerty, it's a good thing you caught more of the dramatic threatening sky and that beautiful sun with its expanding rays. I think i would have put more underneath the horizon line that's all.. a little bit more of what was on the ground, the trees, a bit of land to add some base to it. Good colors!
