Description


This shot was fun/challenging to make. The 'human' (from the zoid series) is really dark and need quite a lot of light in order to make out its features. Whereas the diamond necklace (w/out the chain) didn't need much light at all. So I had to play around, sort to reach a common ground in terms of lighting and exposure.

There is ways in Photoshop for this kind of correction. Yes the figure is really dark, and because of the rest in image does not really fit being a silouhette. You could always take two shots and do some layering too. Way to go on these experiments.

Lovely shot. Love that there's lots of background. Creating shot (I find) are always the most callenging and fun!

It's fun to experiment and I see you've not chosen the easiest objects to shoot! Impressive work, still many details despite the high contrasts! :)
