Description

Done in Xenodream 1.5. I almost never do white backgrounds, but this is an exception. After a render, I will go through most of the lighting presets, tweak a few, and invariably save some 15-20 versions of the render. This one jumped out at me when I was going through the presets, and remained my fave. The lighting preset, painted polystyrene, is stock except that I changed the background to white.

i think what Arend is saying is that the render dosnt look finished...this might be a result of haze..im just learnin lighting in xd and haze is capable of giving that blurred effect that i notice in this render...front to back or back to front...still an interesting piece my friend... bob

Actually, the blur or fuzzyness is not haze. I checked. It is probably due to several things, reduction from 1280 x 1024 to 1024 x 819, the blur setting in the lighting panel, and perhaps other lighting settings. I also think that the colouring, parametric combined with the shape is tricking the eye into perceiving a softness [perceived as blur] that does not exist.
