Lovely shot!!! Excellent use of the rule of thirds and the B&W works so well! I would've leveled the ground in the background thou instead of the fence ~ IMOO

Excellent B/W shot. Maybe try with less jpeg compression. We could see stripes in the sky.

Lovely winter scene - looks great in B/W I imagine it was a pretty sunny and in B/W the darker sky really adds to the picture

Great scene. Reminds me of a Currier & Ives scene. I can almost imagine that a carriage-and-four was traveling down the lane, but the modern tire tracks disabuse me of that image... Can we see a landscape version of this, with the field and farm in the picture, instead of a portrait view?
