In my mind I draw a portrait of you and me
White hair and lines on both our faces
Yet our eyes glisten full of joy
Silent and happy beside one another
Sitting while starring at an empty distance
This simple moment we cherish most
Pages of precious moments written down
In the smiles of our own children we see it all
Beside you I know I really belong always
Never to be apart I pray at night
Waking up without your soulful love
A shattering life is what I would suffer
