Isn't this a Milk Weed pod? Such a sad poem. Honey you really need to be published somewhere. Beautiful photo. It reminded me of my Mother. She passed away in 2003. Great detail on the little seedlings. V

Beautiful pod and poetry!!!. Incredible!!!! I look at this picture and I think of a time of celebration with gathered family and friends and mere strangers all watching brilliant lights and fireworks...and then I think of peace and love for all mankind. Your image has touched me greatly...both sadness and happiness in those memories.
