Two little love birdss ......sitting in a tree... K-i-SS-i-N-G!
well, not sitting in a tree actually, they were in a cage but I took the cage out here.. see the heart inbetween them? they intrigued me- I watched them for a long time and loved how they seemed to need each other and protect -,watching out for each other the one bird seemed to want to protect the other from the bright flash. I had gone to the pet store to look for a kitten for Christmas for my kids , but changed my mind after thinking about the hamsters in our home ( we are down to ONLY three now lol). I miss having a kitty ..sigh but now thinking about a few love birds - but am worried that they might make too much noise lol!!
I will get back to my red rock pics tommorrow. thanks for all your time and comments on my balencing girl in the redrocks means so much ... love you all!

Aw!Very cute little heart,indeed.HUGE difference between owning one of these guys and hamsters,tho!They have a really long lifespan!But worth it,if that's what you want.My friend had one,and man(!)did he crack us up!He did a perfect imitation of her mother.He would constantly say,'This room is a pig sty!This room is a pig sty!'And her mother had a speech impediment...And the bird did that,too!So he said,'pig shty'!!!!LMAO!And whenever we laughed,he would crack up,too...They are amazing creatures to be sure...And you did a wonderful job showing this 'loving' couple,lol.Thanks for making me remember 'Oscar'!MWAH!-M :^)

Ive had a few birds and they are alot of fun...when youre able to let them fly lose in the house. But with such mighty prowlers as Gizmo sneaking around, i wouldnt dare letting any birds outside of their cages. And therefor i would never get a bird again. These two are beautiful. You really smudged that heart in perfectly. Im gonna be honest with you...you should have cropped away its feet. Cause they just dont look good at all. Have a wonderful day Kimmieeeee!!!! #:O)

Love is in the air! Yes they can make noise! We had canaries, and the male sang beautiful songs. But they made a lot of noise in between!!!

Great capture, and that heart shape between the two birds! The black background really showcases the vivid colors of these two lovebirds. One suggestion, though; I think cropping the image at the tailfeathers rather than fading them would have produced a better result. Always a pleasure to view your work!
