Hi, all you good folks of Rosity.
For Xmas David Reid (Aka: Shardz) gave me a few of his ShardzScapes samples.
This one stood out as being very different than his usual themes and artwork.
For the most part, his work contains outdoors themes with wicked Shrines, massive vegetation
and incredible lighting. He typically spends weeks creating one image with week long render times.
Each is a wonderful piece of art that stands on it's own. Using one for a backdrop almost
feels like vandalism... lol. He will be offering a massive package of these backdrops at his store.
I'm gonna buy them just because they are so beautiful and I want them for my own collection.
I seldom use others backdrops in my personal work for my own reasons.
In fact this is the first time I've done this. But I had to display at least one image of his to show
everyone what incredible images are in store for them in his huge package.
Please give yourself a pleasure and visit Shardz gallery. See for yourself what a fantastic and
dedicated artist this man is. Not to mention what a great and kind person he always is.
For you David, I dedicate this image. Hope it does you justice. If not, sorry about the vandalism.

"If I only had a brain..." LOL!! Ahhh this is fantastic, Master Dave, and how did you know I love Wizard of Oz?! They certainly aren't in Kansas anymore and having the Scarecrow get on mapquest.com probably wasn't the best idea, either! LOL! Quite a bit of irony with this one as it's one of the most classic stories ever told, and coming from a Master storyteller makes it even more special! I love how you got these characters together and Dorothy giving him the boot is just a crackup! The Wizard of Oz was actually written here in San Diego at the Hotel Del Coronado in one weekend according to legend. As a kid I always watched it when it came on TV and was just fascinated by the entire production! I must say thank you so very much for your very kind words, they touch me to no end, Dave. I drive myself crazy with this stuff sometimes, but it's all in good fun. The ShardzScapes pack will hopefully be done by March for a total of six months in development! LOL! Yup, I'm nuts! I can't wait to be done, trust me on this one! Outstanding work, Dave, this is just magnificent and really made my sleepless night great! Clicks heels together

I still watch Oz every Thanksgiving! More fun than football. The colors are just so beautiful! How you bring humor and beauty together here is astounding! The fact that Shardz enjoys it as much as he does, well.....now THAT is icing on the cake! Such talent and imagination! I'm envious! ~Michelle~
