Description

Running for Shelter There's a Storm a-coming a Storm in my Heart and I'm Running for Shelter from the Storm in my Heart. Lived my life on the Empty Plains now a Storm is coming; there's a Storm in my Heart. I saw that Girl and the Storm started brewing around the World; there's a Storm in my Heart. She's got fingers in me Down deep in my heart now I'm Running for Shelter from the Storm in my Heart. Her wiles call to me pulling Strings in my Heart so I'm Running for Shelter from the Storm in my Heart. by Michael R. Steele
It's been a while since I've posted any writing, but I just saw something from an old friend (once-friend? :( of mine, and thought I'd drop this on you. :D The story behind it? I was chatting with a lady I'm fond of but haven't had an excuse to visit with, or to really get to know her, when her friend conveniently mentioned that this gal performs folk music in a very quiet venue, and says I ought to drop by! Okay... So I got nervous, once I realized that it was a planned trap! but I'm happy for it. The next morning, while I waited for my coffee to absorb into my blood, I wrote this "poem." Lyrics, maybe: It's rough, and is presented here as I originally wrote it.

I expected a picture and got exactly that. Picture in words, that is. Exceptional poetry and I am so glad to see you back writing. It's been far too long. We want more!

Did I leave any clues as to WHEN this happened? :D Well, I guess it will have to be in the recent past and near future, then, or I'll disappoint my friends! :)
