Description
I am fascinated by the different ways the different software handles the same object. This is of course produced in DAZ Studio - or rather the figure is. I optimized it in DAZ to produce an image that I posted in the DAZ forum here. I then wanted to see what I could do with the same figure in Bryce. All I did was export the figure without any changes in textures or pose into Bryce.
I had to do a lot of work in Bryce working on the specularity and the ambience both of the skin texture and the armour. The armour imports into Bryce as a dull gun metal grey - possibly more realistic but not what I wanted. If I really built up the reflectivity of the armour too much it started to look very wrong. I switched off the sunlight in Bryce and there is just one light on her and of course the angle we are looking at her from is different. I like them both but I think I prefer this one.
Thanks for looking and any comments.

most excellent work well done
Burpee
I like the Bryce one better, lol. She looks so pretty here and I love the shadows...light against dark.

I have to agree with Burpee...I like this one better...she's looks colder in this one...great idea comparing the different software packages results!
