Description
Scientists in Taiwan injected embryonic pigs with fluorescent protein and now have green glowing pigs. This is being done for medical research. Saw the news story today and when they said, "fluorescent pigs" this image just popped into my mind.
You know, when the Earth has turned dark and cold and all life is extinguished, it isn't going to be because of a meteor impact, or the sun going nova, it's going to be because of human curiosity and tampering with things they "think" they understand. Someday, someone will say the final, "Oops" and that will be it.

I remember seeing a thing on discovery about utilizing the phosphorescences found in fish...this was years ago. So I see now they found the pig as their genni...great backdrop for running greens Dave (=

These would make good companions for my Radioactive Cats. :) The way they're bursting out of that corridor / maze is a bit unsettling, though.

You know, we are entering an age of darkness, real darkness.... because darknes is where we see glowing pigs the best! They said that they are glowing in the inside too... soon avalaible the glowing ham! the pizza with glowing peperonni! Nicely done pic by the way ;-p

Of course, in a few years when all the pigs are fluorescent, it will be odd to have a dim one.
