The flaming torch is the source of illumination, so it would affect everything in the scene (walls, girl, sword, etc.). Also, the armor would have more shine to it. You could just do the shine in your paint program with the eraser tool. Looks like an interesting scene, though.

Good image - I have to disagree with clouded though - the illumination seems okay to me. I did notice that that there don't seem to be any shadows?? Keep up the good work fodderboy!
