So many levels of contrast - color, texture, light levels, and depth of focus. One could look at this for hours and still see variance. Beautiful!

Yep, a day of the white stuff followed by rain...our winter day. You did far better than I did on the day, this is really excellent.

Very poetical and beautiful shot Richard ! I like the red color of this leaf, like a small basket for the snow. So lovely, and with a perfect light. The snow is always magical for a photographer ! I would like to have some snow where I live... but it's very rare ;o((((( Have a wonderful week-end. Hugs. V

"...but alas we do not get much snow here",...Neither do we...but that doesn't stop most people where I live, from driving enormous four-wheeled behemoths...Sigh...soooo wrong...Okay,onward,lol...A lovely frosty image,Richard.Considering you have so little to work with...you have made much of it!The color composition is wonderful. And I love the texture the snow appears to have. But I must confess,I am still loving your nails.LOL.It sounds like I want to use your manicurist!Ha ha.Hope you have a wonderful weekend,my MASterful friend.-M :^)

Well, you captured the snow anyway! ;) It's a lovely capture, fresh grass, a fallen leaf and snow (that's 3 seasons) - we're waiting for spring now! :) Terrific work, Richard!
