Any tips on how I could have made this photo come out better? Thanks.

There's not much you can do about the clouds in this situation except to let them pass. Sometimes clouds around the moon look fantastic, but in this instance they are just kinda muddy :( Apart from that, playing with the contrast a bit might improve it a bit, and a tap or two on the "sharpen" button? Just some suggestions -- it's not a bad image, just plagued by muddy atmosphere and clouds.
