Incredibly poignant! Especially so by the way you made space around the foot, like the hands are afraid to get too close! Part of your text reminds me of "The lathe of Heaven" where the shrink tries to solve predjudice in the world by wishing everyone to be the same, so everyones skin becomes grey, no black or white, just grey. Excellent job!!
