Description

Within Fortress Europe, a German SS Panzer Division waits in readiness for orders to deploy wherever the expected Allied invasion should land--in this case, much farther north of Normandy. This is probably not as historically correct as a history purist might like, but it will have to do for me. Was mostly an excuse to use all those models that I purchased and had never used. Credits: SS Officer: DAZ M2; skin texture Nikita Creed; uniform by Corearts. Other soldiers: Corearts, Thip, and Nao. Dogs: "Oscar" by traveler. Trucks: Gunpoint.com. Aircraft: Vincent Moyet. Catepillar Bike and Kubelwagen: Alejandro Delgado. German Panther PzKw5 Tank: Net freebie, but don't remember where I got it. Trees: oldworld. Grasses: 3d models by Flink turned into 2D Alpha planes by me. Textures his. Ground texture: Jonathan Allen. Road: : Hiroyasu Nakatani (JTrout). Thanks, guys, for some great models and textures! And thank you for dropping by and taking a look. Comments are appreciated. Jeremy

Very fortunate not to have been assigned to the Russian Front. Socialsim, with it's planning found a credible adversary in massive exploitation of capitalsim.

Very nice indeed. VOTE. It could be very interesting to portray the same period of the war from the other side of the channel and the other combatants point of view, fear and boredom. It would take a darn good modeler to create an allied fake mlitary. Rubber and scrap lumber Air force and wheeled military. Manfred could hndle a posting like that exceptionally well. :-)
