Another picture from Copenhagen churchyard. I think its strange or/and funny, that you can find beauty everywhere, if you just take your time to look and search for it! I think that you are so right Jan-Carel, that you don

Yes indeed. It's very difficult for me to imagine what it must feel like to stand in such a beautiful scene. Thank you for sharing your wealth!

How come that one beautiful scenery is perceived as more beautiful than another!? Somehow the attraction of mountain landscapes has to me the profound effect of experience freedom in a wide space, with variety, challenges, and many different options that demand to make choices. But... can the beauty of a human being be compared with the beauty of a landscape? Is a pear better than an apple? An important aspect of my hikes in the mountains is the absence of culture (well, not entirely, but let's say, close), where I feel free to hike, to enjoy, to shoot what I like, to absorb the sunlight, to inhalate the fresh air, the efforts and the satisfactory feeling reaching a summit, and the mind-expanding feeling of vast space, to look as far as the eyes can distinguish details and suddenly finding myself in God's presence, and being alone I don't feel any inhibition to say graces, pray loudly and sing, because my experience tells me I'm all getting it out of his hands, and I immerse myself in that joy. Descending the mountain makes me feel like Moses and perhaps I can radiate a tiny little bit of that joy in my captures with the stories, spreading the contagious feeling to anyone seeing that posting. Perhaps Narnia is closer by than we thought, and do we need to open the door of the wardrobe, accessing the land we long for!
