Description
"The Commander's office was a one-room square with one corner anchored in the tube that was A-Central.The office Window took up the outer corner, from the ceiling down to a computer console that merged with a shelf-cabnet combination that ran all around the office at waist height. Flags- both the Alliance's and Dragoon's- hung on opposite walls encased in plastic display cases mounted on tracks. At the press of a switch ,one or the other would slide aside to reveal star charts- One of the Alliance territory under the Dregan flag and one of the known galactic region under the Alliance flag.To the left of the door as you faced it, hung a portrait of Arrow's father- Commander Wohall Dickess. Near it was the office safe. On the other side of the door, hung the Astro Security banner- a field of green trimmed in yellow with three yellow triangles over one green triangle: the whole thing was topped off with yellow fringe along the bottom.
In front of the window and computer console were a desk and chair with two visitors' chairs- all mounted on anti-grav beams..."

This has to be the most involved project I've undertaken outside of my Red Sonja work. Everything except the flowers was built out of primatives with texture maps- and that includes the banner, flags, portrait, wall safe and cabnet doors. The skyline background was originally intended to be the actual buildings, but I figured the background would make it easier on Poser and result in a smaller file size. All five walls, floor and ceiling were built. The model uses 73 lights- most positioned in the ceiling.
Now I think I'm going to take a short trip to WWII before starting the next project in Arrow's Universe- Her A-frame.

Whoa! LOTS of work here! I recognized most of it from the book (and of course, the text!), so I felt right at home--except for the Star Trek model; I thought it would have been the Enterprise D from the book. This looks more like Sulu's ship? or the Reliant? Wait! Is that the Voyager, with her nacelles down???
