Nice work! The texturing on the flag is a surprisingly nice touch. :)

Your comments Lookoo are way out of line. If you don't like a picture for political reasons, don't post. Just because you have a chip on your shoulder doesn't mean you need to take it out on an innocent bystander.

My first comment to Paden: I am really getting tired of this naive freedom-blahblah. The most striking thing about this is that nobody seems to bother whose freedom is actually meant. There is no such thing as "freedom as such". There is always only freedom of certain people to do certain things, freedom of certain states to do certain things. And if freedom is exercised, there is always the question if this interferes with the freedom of others. Today the US is the sole surviving superpower and feels often very free to do whatever it sees fit to do, no matter what the UN or the rest of the west or the world thinks. And by the way, Lincoln... In the Matson v. Rutherford (1847)case Lincoln went to court as an advocate to demand the return of "lost property" to his client, a southern slaveholder. The lost property was an enslaved family that had escaped to the safe haven of abolitionists. In the civil war, Lincoln admitted that his sole goal was to maintain the Union, freeing all, parts of or none of the slaves was solely instrumental to this. And I would also like to mention the ONLY referral to the real people of this country in the sacrosanct declaration of independence as "the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions". End of quote. We all know who it then was whose known rule of warfare was exactly like this and who, after having exterminated 98% of the native population, fabricated the myth of "how the west was won" and manages to take unmitigated pride in what has come to be the longest genocide in world history. A toast to freedom to exercise power, violence and greed and feel great about it! Cheers. My reply to Padens reaction: Hey paden, dont take it personally. I referred to the sweeping political message and not to the person who makes it. I think thats the proper way to exchange conflicting points of views. I will therefore not take your remark personally either. I would also like to know what it actually is that qualifies my comments as out of line. You might also want to rethink your stance on discussion culture when you only accept positive comments on an essentially political statement and order anyone with an other opinion to shut up. Easy tiger! If that helps you, I really appreciate the technical standard of your pic.
