Interesting picture. The creature looks like the ones in a Star Trek Next Generation episode. I think it was titled something like "Encounter at Farpoint". Was that episode your inspiration? I like the colors and the lighting. I'd probably make the hull of the starship in the upper left corner a little bit smoother. Nice work!

I rember that episode and I think the creatures looked like jellyfish. I was going for an organic energy based life force. Of course all the sci fi I read or see hides in the back of my mind and influences what I do. I believe that episode was the first TNG episode now that I think about it so I am sure that it influenced me somehow. Thanks for the comment.
