Description

We spotted this little guy on our windshield while we were headed down the highway in Hilo, HI. He sure was a brave and beautiful little fellow! :)

Being a Hilo boy myself, I know this day gecko! I believe it was introduced here in the islands, it's originally from Madagascar. Although you don't see as many of these as you do regular house geckos, these guys are much more colorful. You got a great shot of him here as they are usually very shy and run at the first sign of a camera...take it from me! Hope you enjoyed your stay in my hometown....Aloha to you and Welcome to R&R! Good thing he has stickly little fingers. What an adventure for the little guy. I hope he doesn't make a habit of it. Wonderful pic. I think his eyes are poppin out a little from the adrendline rush.
