I spent 5 years working for a leading Park Ave, advertising firm. From there I moved on and I am currently a Telecommunications and Networking professional working on projects around the world. I get to do 3D for my job but not nearly as much as I'd like. Lightwave, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver are but a few apps in which I am proficient.

Cool! A malp! However, it would be more realistic if it was gray.

pappa oom maup maup..;) seem to remember a TV camera on top, but as any modeler will tell you, the props dept on TV shows are ALWAYS fiddeling with the design..it's hard to get a 'correct' reference model..;) great stuff, keep it up

looks great, but the bottom part of access panels are below the tyre guards, is that the way they should be?

Actually the two domes on the front are camera's and there is also a small camera perched up on the claw. All visble in the render. The access panel geometry will be narrowed a bit to get the bottoms up above the mud guards. Funny what you do not notice when working primarily in the wire frame mode. It is a simple matter as all of the panels have independent surfaces so selection the polygons exclusive to the panels is a snap. As of this writting it has already been taken care of. Also the vehicle is gray. The lighting makes it lighter than it is. very easy to adjust by cranking down the diffuse values.

Great Modeling!

Outstanding modeling! A few more panels, bolts and nurnies would be nice, but I don't want to be messing up the design. A couple of full views would be good too. :o)
