Description

This is how the apple gourd looks after it is scraped. You can then spray acrylic on it to make it shiny. I don't have a finished apple gourd painted, but you can look and learn more about them at this site:- http://kygourdsociety.com I also don't know if you can eat them. Thanks for all the comments on my gourds yesterday there are all types and varieties of them. Added border and frame. All postwork done in PSP9. Any and all comments are appreciated. Many hugs, Susan~

Very creative photography, Susan - never thought about doing that after the gourd has been scraped, but it's an interesting approach. Looks like bite got taken from it - hope that was before the acrylic spray (O'

Gourd - What is that? I dont know, but the work you've done is wonderful Susan! I've looked at more of your images, and have to say that you do awesome work! I havent got the time to write on every image, because I'm going out to meet a friend that came from Norway just to visit me and the rest of my family here in Denmark. I'm so looking forward to see here again! But I will come back and write some more comments to you! Have a nice day Susan!
