Description

Hawkshead is a beautiful quaint old English village a few miles from Lake Windermere. The land rises above Hawkshead into wild countryside and beautiful walks in the hills. The weather has a mind of its own as you can see in the image. Beautiful sun in the foreground and menacing clouds in the distance. You know very well it will go either way but if you stay in the cottage it will be sunny and if you venture out your likely to get a downpour. But I guess that is the beauty of the English weather or so I am told :-)

What I find so impressive are the textures, from rolling hills to stacked rock walls and angry skies. Absolutely gorgeous! A perfect POV to capture this scene.

He he, just as it happens in many mountain area's, nice weather in the valley and cold precipitation treating the challenging hikers. But... when they return THEY have a story! ;)
