Description

this is a quick sketch I did of my little Angel, my Granddaughter Jessica...I could never draw a stick man to save my life, but have started taking art lessons once a week with a local artist, and am going to my 8th lesson tonight...I have seen an definite improvement in that now a sketch like this actually looks *human* *L* just thought I'd share as I'd like to post more as I continue my art lessons...thanks for looking! Karen

Glad that you're taking art lessons. :) I would reduce the dark black lines around the face and neck. Although these are the edges of the face, faces don't have black lines ;)

Hi there.. I draw free hand myself when the mood strikes me. I think that drawing with a pencil and paper is much harder then on the PC. For example there is no CTRL + Z on paper and no special effects, just the image in ones mind eye, a blank canvas and what ever implement you choose to use to convey that Idea for others to view. From my humble perspective based on your 7 art classes before doing this drawing, ... Its absolutely fantastic!!! Keep up the great work , never get discouraged if things don't look exactly how you want, we are after all our own worst critic. I sure do hope you share more as you have them. I would love to see your next artistic composure... Z
