another try to create realistic stars ... made them with PSP .. im not really satisfied but i think they're ok :o) maybe ill work on them again ..

For the stars, create a new layer, add noise, and then play with contrasts. Here the atmosphere and the water are great, but I think there could be more layers for the surfaces.
