I'm still in a portrait mood. Thought I'd do an image of a thoughtfull Cindy. For me the eyes are the bane of my renders. I try to make sure that there is some life behid the eyes. If you can do that you make your characters that much more alive. What drives me nuts is how different the eyes appear between the preview image and the render, how the lights can make perfectly posed eyes look lik ethey are looking elswhere. I also thought I'd try out a slightly different post-processing style today. Usually I restrict myself to fixing errors and massaging the colors, but today I tried something new. Almost a painted look. I'm not a big fan of teh painted look as I like renders because they are renders, but flexing my wings is important to me.
