Description

Hello all Another from my Valley of the Fire . This is at Rainbow Vista . See all that firey red rock aglow with sunlight? IT tunred out a little dark and grainy, but I still love it because of how the rocks lit up so beautifully. so i went for a more toned down painted effect here. I think if I would have gotten there five -10 minutes earlier it would have been even more spectacular. LOL Mike and the girls saw it before I did. They had driven off with out me up to the vista to teach me a lesson cause I was taking too long lagging with my photography. I hiked up a steep path and was shocked that my car was gone. I paced and tryed to enjoy the surroundings. I was upset cause I knew it was sunset. I hardly ever get angry . I am really easygoing .But pacing there I was beginning to grow very upset not knowing where they had gone off to without me. FInally , after about 10 minutes ,my sport utuilty explorer came back around the bend and picked me up . The kids were giggling. I let it go. I said this isnt going to ruin my trip and tryed to be cheerful. I forgot about it all when we got to the top of this hill."Let me out!" ( of the car) I ran over and took snapped shot by hand before the last light was gone. it turned out a bit grainy and not as spectacular as I remember. Not many times in my lifetime had I seen anything so firey. I loved the deep orange -red glow on those red rocks so much. ne of those type experiances you hardly think can be real. so beautiful . Light is such an amazing thing!! See the curvy hwy down there ? - gives it a sence of persective how vast and amazing this place is. I almost didnt put this up cause its a little dark - but , hey- I love it and so I hope ot think maybe someone out there might enjoy it too!! Thanks for all your time and comments on my poodle rock!! love you all , (((Big hugs))) ♥ Kimmers !

It is a magical place indeed. I would not mind living there, or at least having a hut so i have a place to return to after being out each day painting.
