A principal character from the Ring of Steel, a D&D Forgotten Realms campaign set in and around Harrowdale. Born with the sorcerer's gift to work magic instictively, Kaulen was all but shuned by the magic weary Harrans until he found a place in the Ring of Steel. Relishing the reputation he gained in his youth for being dangerous and unpredictable when he nearly burned down his family's farm, he is not quite the mad magician he often seems, but delights in playing the part to the hilt.
