Description
Resting thoughts on a page reflecting the past
And promises that were broken
Sorrow that came without cause
From words that shouldn't have been spoken
The past will always remain where it is
Along with the unforgiven
A new year is marked on the map
As we try to change our ways
Spitting out the bitter taste
Of past spoiled days
Then look toward the impossible tasks
And pray to not be swayed
When polishing the house of glass
The light is forever blinding
Keeping eyes from the beauty
Of a sun forever shining
Losing track of North or South
In each cloud's silver lining
If the future can cause suffering
When we haven't lived it yet
We must learn a new method
Of how to forget
