Great scene and I think the lighting is natural. My only question, is about the grade of the track. It seems quite steep for a bridge.

I'm going to swim against the tide a bit here. I think there's too much ambient light. For a night scene, there's too much detail (like in the stones in the bridge pilings) Personally I use ambient lighting sparingly...most often not at all. In this case, I'd turn it off altogether and add spotlights (as many as you see fit) radiating outward and up from the locomotive's headlight. Let the light hit the bridge girders from the inside. Quadruple the number of trees, but group them in bunches. I've just put down my money for a copy of Vue d'Espirt, so I'm not too conversant with how it works yet. But do I detect that bridge as being a model included in the package? It needs to be dirtied up. Get a good rust texture, take it into Photoshop, erase holes in it, and cubically apply it to the bridge model. All-in-all, it's a real good image. I've seen the other comments on how the snow should be more dirty. I see their point, but clean, (fresh) snow doesn't bother me a bit. I think all this needs is a coal tender and a few cars trailing behind.
