Description

The original UF "Erosion" image was created with my old monitor (not good quality) with limited calibration. I decided to go back to this image and improve it for my website. This time I have not rendered the image but exported twice the size and then reduced it. This time I have not lost so much texture and the image is much brighter. If you have any ideas on how to impove this image I would be very grateful for your advice. This image is still being constantly tweaked every now again when an idea comes to me but there are many artists at Rendo with more experience than I have who can offer good advice. I would appreciate it very much. Many thanks Heather

Heather, the stones are just great! I find the sea and the sky a little pale in comparison. Maybe it would be nice to add just a tiny little bit of saturation without making it too blue.

To me this looks like the bark on a tree and very gorgeous just as is... I feel I am inside looking out on a very bright day! :)

Fantastic - the texture and colour are so well chosen -if you look closely you can even see grotesque faces - well done indeed :O)

excellent coloring and texture but agree with Nadita about the paleness of the Sky and sea and maybe a bit more contrast between these two.

WOW. What an awesome fractal terrain. The texture is just amazing. No suggestions for improvement, Heather..but I'd love to know which formulas you used for the texture. Outstanding!
