Description

My hometown of Yreka California used to have a decent chinese population from the gold rush days. Chinatown was partially destroyed twice, due to a fire and a flood, the chinese were hard workers, working mines and the railroad. Chinatown was finally demolished to make way for interstate 5. Yrekas Chinese population is very small now, a few families. This and a few indentations in the ground representing graves dug up by vandals are all that is left of Chinatowns graveyard. I believe there were originally 32 graves. now one.
