Another Macro of the slides of Giancarlo, a very lovely bee, so strange with a very long abdomen.

Not a bee at all but a fly! Looks like some species of crane fly...but in any case a great capture!

I think it is a crane fly too. I recently posted a pair in my gallery, although mine were not as beautifully colored as these. Fantastic macro shot of them!

Doesn't look like a bee, but that is the coolest exoskeleton I've ever seen. Somebody oughta design some kind of alien or robot after this little buzzer.
