Photographies made with my Nikon D70S and a Tamron lens 18-200 mm.
Little postwork with Nik Color Effect Pro (filter "Classical Soft Focus") and framed with Photoshop 7
Tonight a new little serie. The first of a serie of 3.
This one has been taken in the province of Chantabury, not far from the sea. There was a big field of rice, and a group of women working here, cuting the rice.
At first I was very surprised because I've never imagine that a field of rice could be so high (long). The colors where incredible, and these women, working hard with a very hot sun... they where fantastic, and came to speak with us. But as always they don't speak a word of english... but we laugh together, they were happy to see us, and to make a short pause. We had some bottles of water with us, then we divide them with them.
One thing sad, in Thailand as in a lot of countries of Africa, is to see that women work hard during all the day, but I can't tell the same thing about men..... No comment more, you'll understand by yourself ;o))))
Anyway I love these shots.
I've made these shots with an exposure of 1/60 sec and a diaphragm of 5.6 - ISO 200.
My series make me think of course to some shots of DELMUR..... but Jean-Pierre has photographied garlic fields and not rice, lol !

Dur travail comme tu le dis...moi l'est si courte que des chapeaux j'ai pas besoin de mettre, tandis qu'eux ils doivent se proter beaucoup du soleil quand ils travaillent aux champs ... fait tr joli regarder avec ces couleurs diffentes. Magnifique Nathalie!:)
