Description

A scene inspired by one of the ancient Pentathlon events - Discus Throwing. Anton Kisiels' Apollo Maximus 2005 Poser figure (from RuntimeDNA) was used as a controlling volume for almost 100,000 'fluid' particles. Other scene elements made in Cinema4D. Maxwell Render RC5 used for the materials, lighting and rendering via a Cinema4D plugin.

nice style that I haven't seen anywhere else. Would work great as a poster for a sports event.

Thank you for commenting. eko: Motion blur with Maxwell Render is not working yet but will keep this in mind for when it is. mplogue: Renderosity is a nice place to see images from many software packages. bazze: Or with just the liquinian figure/s t-shirts might work well. madluko: Not fully happy with the material but it was first proper go with Maxwell RC5. The next one will use a similar material with a coating layer to give a thin film effect - well that's the plan anyway!
