Description

I made this photo on January 8th in the late afternoon. It was an misty and cloudy day with an extraordinary atmosphere. The complete world was blue. There is no postwork at this photo. This was the real mood on this day. Don't ask my why. I can't explain it. But it was impressive. (Photo taken with Canon EOS 20D, January 2006, Bavaria, Germany) Thanks for looking.

There's something to be said for days like this...need the dark to balance with the light...beautiful and atmospheric !

I've seen plenty of days like this while living in NW Pennsylvania. I think it has a lot to do with the snow. And you're right.... there's just something about it that makes a statement of it's own. Very nicely done.

Blue-grey, typical winter-mood in a snow-covered landscape where the world would look dull grey when there had been no snow! Gorgeous work!
